  • "The Bega Valley Waste App has changed the way people think about waste in our shire. Since introducing it in May 2017 more than 70% of our residents have downloaded the App. Our App has played an integral part in our communications around FOGO. This technology is: Saving us money by not having to print 20,000 bin collection calendars each year, reducing our impact on the environment by not having to recycle 20,000 printed calendars each year and allowing our team to reach thousands of residents instantly via push notifications. The app provides our residents with the most accurate information without having to troll through pages and pages on Council’s website. Impact Apps have been a pleasure to work with."

  • "The main benefits of our app is having the bin collection calendar at your fingertips, easy reordering of kitchen caddy bags and waste info all in one handy place. We were surprised by how much information can be included in one app! Our app has been well received by residents. I have found Lisa and her team to be easy to work with. They have offered us excellent support, all in a timely and professional manner."

  • "Our app was designed for Digital Waste Vouchers. Our Council transitioned from Seasonal Waste Weekends to the voucher solution. We trialed the app and the voucher system for six months and it was successful. Our Council has just transitioned to a three-bin collection service with the introduction of FOGO. The app has been a valuable tool in helping residents with collection days, what bins to put out and what goes into each bin. We underestimated how beneficial the app would be when we transitioned to the three bin service. The app became so much more than 'download the app and get your free voucher!'. Our residents love the app and often tell friends and family to use it via facebook comments. Impact Apps were great to work with. Lisa as been very easy and efficient. Their experience with other Councils enables them to offer good advice and ideas."

  • "The app is "onhand" and always accessible for our residents. It does not matter what day or time it is, the app is available! No waiting to ring Council. The Calendar is worth its weight in gold. We love the calendar and the ability to set up reminders the day before a scheduled service day. The majority of our residents love this app! We produced a small video showing them how to use it. Working with Impact Apps was a fantastic experience. The templates given to us to provide information were easy to use and the process of providing data was so simple. The whole experience was a pleasure - one of the easiest working experiences that we have had!!!"

  • "It has been a pleasure working with Impact Apps (specifically Lisa) on my first app building project. The app is easy to navigate, the benefits are well thought of and the app so effectively that all we wanted has been delivered. I found Impact Apps very easy to deal with. They provided a swift response to all requests. Our single point of contact, Lisa Brown, is exceptional at understanding the client requirements. She made sure the app was built with perfection. Impact Apps have delivered more than we paid for."

  • "Bayside Council launched a residential mobile Waste Services App funded by NSW EPA and developed by Impact Apps, providing a new and convenient way for residents to access information on their recycling and waste services. The App provides information to residents via smart phones and tablets on how to avoid waste generation and how to reuse, recycle, and dispose of their waste. Council worked with Impact Apps to develop new and innovative features, such as inclusion of clean up dates in the calendar, and electronic forms to allow residents to report on illegal dumping, kerbside bin issues and general enquiries. The Waste Services App has been well received by the community and allows Council to provide dynamic information on collection services, reuse options, recycling options, and problem waste management to residents."
